Things to do at Balsam Lake Resort & Campground

Fishing is a favorite pastime here!
We offer boat and motor rentals, or you can use our convenient boat launch if you bring your own. You'll also find multiple docks perfect for fishing right from the shore. Feel free to explore by following the channel to Scrapper and Wilson Lakes.
At the end of your fishing day, you can clean your catch in our dedicated fish cleaning house.

Kayak or paddle board Complimentary kayaks and paddle boards are available to use during your stay. |

Swim We have a sandy beach area available, complete with swim mats and a swim dock for your enjoyment. |

Take a walk We've been working on clearing paths across our 30+ acres, creating trails perfect for a walk. Or, you can always head down the dirt road for a stroll.

Hang out at the lake We have seating, a small playground, and a sandbox available at the lake. |

Have a bonfire We have wood available for sale and firepits for use. Charcoal grills are also available if you'd like to barbecue.

Find an ATV Trail There are many atv trails nearby, get on the Balsam Trail just a couple miles away. |

Check out the Boat House Located by the dock, the boat house is the perfect spot to access Wi-Fi, grab a cup of coffee, purchase ice or night crawlers, or relax and hang out. |

Visit the laundry room We have coin-operated washers and dryers available in the laundry room, located at the opposite end of the boathouse.
In the same area, you'll also find charcoal grills, games, books, and puzzles that you are welcome to borrow.
